2009 Graduates Transition to Active ADHA Membership
Congratulations on your recent graduation! Once you’re a licensed registered dental hygienist, you qualify for active membership at no additional cost. As an active member, you’ll be able to explore your career options, increase your professional edge, and get discounts on professional items such as loupes, books, scrubs, car rentals and insurance, just to name a few. Remember: transition to active membership once you receive your license.

Summer Cycle Members
Reminder: You can log in to your member’s only account at http://www.adha.org to view your current membership status. Your ADHA membership renewal invoice for this summer is available online. You can access your account 24/7. Once logged in, click the pay my dues now tab to bring your membership current through 2009-2010.

New Addition to Your Online Membership Account Available!
We are proud to introduce a new addition to your online membership account. All members will now be able to view or print an online version of their current ADHA membership card. This can be accessed by logging in to your member’s only account by visiting http://www.adha.org/news/real.htm. Once inside, you will see an option for “Membership Card” on the left hand side. 

Become a member of ADHA and you will not be just one voice or one person trying to achieve a goal. You will be a member of an organization of dental hygienists whose voices will be heard and whose actions will be seen.

ADHA Membership Privileges

Journal of Dental Hygiene- Members receive a complimentary subscription to ADHA's official publication bringing you scientific and technical articles on clinical practice, research, and education.
Access- Members receive a complimentary subscription to ADHA's magazine. Access helps you stay on top of the issues that are important to dental hygiene.
As part of your dues, you automatically become a member of your state Constituent and local Component organizations. These groups sponsor meetings and activities for your personal and professional benefit. By attending local, state, and national membership functions, you have the opportunity to form new friendships and develop professional contacts.
ADHA membership offers you a discount on continuing education through on-line continuing education courses, self-study courses through ADHA's Journal of Dental Hygiene, the ADHA Annual Session, and Constituent and Component continuing education functions.
Members may apply for scholarships and research grants through ADHA's Institute for Oral Health (IOH). The IOH encourages and promotes professional excellence through scholarships and quality research in collaboration with ADHA. Through its programs, the Institute has awarded more than 800 scholarships to full-and part-time students pursuing graduate and undergraduate degrees, and has inspired over 50 dental hygienists to pursue research specifically in the field of dental hygiene.

As an ADHA member you are entitled to apply for car insurance at a discount. Members may also take advantage of the ADHA credit card and/or mileage program, allowing you to earn points to use towards travel with every purchase you make. The program also offers members financial planning tools.
As an ADHA member you are can receive discounted hotel rates at over 4,000 hotels nationwide.
